A: Yes, a few condos are still available but they are booking up fast. Visit www.WintergreenResort.com or www.VRBO.com to browse your options. We hope to see you “on the mountain” for the holiday.

Java Depot opens in Beech Grove

Beech Grove is just below Wintergreen Mountain and Java Depot is next to the Devil’s Backbone Brewery. This new coffee shop had a “soft opening” yesterday. We stopped by to check it out. The official grand opening is in early July.

Yes! There is coffee…and espresso drinks. There are also fresh baked scones, chocolate croissants, and other breakfast pastries. You can grab a hot breakfast for less than $5 to include eggs, bacon and some great breakfast potatoes.

There is plenty of seating including cozy couches and tables.

Their plan is to open early at 7AM on the weekends and 6AM during the week. Closed on Mondays but open late on Friday. I will post their regular hours and menu during their Grand Opening.
