A Busy Weekend in Nelson County

This weekend will be busy in Nelson County and Wintergreen Resort. Here are just a few ideas of weekend activities.

Live Music: Live music continues across Nelson County all weekend. Be sure to check out the schedules at The Edge in Wintergreen, The Devil’s Backbone Brewery and the Blue Mountain Brewery. Each has live music scheduled for this weekend—too many bands to mention in today’s blog.

Summer Solstice Wine and Farm Festival: June 20-21st Located at the Amherst Estate Vineyard (434-946-5168) This is a combined Nelson County and Amherst County wine festival. (fee)

Farmer’s Markets: Farmer’s markets are on Saturday morning in both Nellysford (8AM-Noon) and Schuyler (8:30-12:30).

Wine & Beer Tasting Real Estate Open House at 21 Indian Point, Wintergreen Resort on Friday from 4PM-7PM This beautiful home will be open to the public.

2009 Festival of Wine and Food: Wintergreen Resort, June 20th: Enjoy wine, jazz, light fare and the cool mountain air. Noon-5:30PM (fee to support the Wintergreen Performing Arts)
