What’s going on with real estate in Wintergreen? Being a Realtor for Wintergreen’s official real estate office, Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties, I get this question a lot.

It is a GREAT time to buy a second home or investment property in Wintergreen Resort or Nelson County. There are many value-priced condos and homes and interest rates are low. The resort has everything from studio condos to 9BR homes listed for sale this week.

Can I still get a loan for a vacation or second home? Yes, lenders are still providing loans for Wintergreen and Nelson County properties. Plan to put 10-20% down on the property, show good credit and an employment record.

Wintergreen Resort does not have timeshares, but up to three families can own a property together.

Real Estate Today: Try Before You Buy Rent a condo or house while you are looking at real estate in Wintergreen Resort. I have a few houses and condos that you can rent before you decide to buy. The private rentals have great rates for ski season and come with many amenities.
