Jan 14: FRIGID: The very cold temperatures are on their way, starting tonight. At 6AM this morning, it is 22 in Beech Grove in the valley and it is only 10 degrees on Devil’s Knob in Wintergreen. The high today will be in the mid 30’s in the valley and mid 20’s in the mountains. Today will be a warm day compared to tomorrow! Get ready for some very cold temperatures. Ski & Ride Report: Making Tons of SNOW this week. Yesterday, we were skiing and riding on 12 trails. I hope to be skiing on the grand opening of Tyro and Lower Diamond Hill today. Snow guns were blowing all over the mountain yesterday to prepare for your arrival for the holiday weekend. I will be posting a mid-week slope report later today.


MLK Weekend Update: Purchase both tubing and Ridgely’s tickets on line at www.WintergreenResort.com Both of these areas have become very busy. I suggest that you purchase tickets in advance of MLK weekend.
