Ski & Ride Season Count Down: Ski & Ride Season Opens on December 10th (weather permitting) Yes! Wintergreen will have Ice Skating this season. Ice Skating will open, weather permitting, on December 18th. Wintergreen will have ice skate rentals too.

Thanksgiving Updates

There is still holiday lodging available at Wintergreen Resort. Yes, the resort will be open—it is open 365 days a year. See below for some lodging options.

Yes, all the resort restaurants will be open. For a full menu, see my Holiday Guide at www.ExperienceWintergreen.com. Most of the restaurants need a reservation, except for the Edge at Wintergreen. Most local, non-resort, restaurants will be closed on Thursday.

Restaurants, wineries, breweries and shops in Nelson County will re-open on Friday and will be open all weekend. Wintergreen Winery is hosting their annual Holiday Open House.

Q: Where can I watch the VA Tech vs UVA game?
A: In Wintergreen, you can watch the game at The Edge. In the valley, stop by Devil’s Backbone Brewery. If I hear of any other locations, I will be sure to post them here.
