Happy Birthday Devil’s Backbone Brewery!

Bill and I tell friends that we are within walking distance of the Devil’s Backbone Brewery, “and we walk past a winery to get there”…(that’s the Wintergreen Winery) Beech Grove has become a destination stop in Nelson County. One of the popular stops in Beech Grove is the Devil’s Backbone Brewery.

Last night, the brewery celebrated its 2 year anniversary. I stopped by for dinner. When I arrived, I was given an anniversary gift of an anniversary collector’s glass. On the back of the glass is this statement:

60+ Beers
8 GABF Individual Beer Medals
4 World Beer Cup Individual Beer Medals
1 Wold Beer Cup Champion Award
2 Years of Great Beer

That sums it up! We are so glad that you are in the neighborhood, and we look forward to celebrating many more years with you.

Where is Beech Grove? Beech Grove is just below the Wintergreen Mountain Village. Turn off of Rt. 151 when you see the bright blue roof of the Ski Barn and you are entering the community of Beech Grove. We hope to see you in the neighborhood.
