July Winery Events

Nelson County has become known for its wineries. All of the county’s wineries are open to visitors and provide either tours or tastings. During Summer, several of our wineries offer special events. Here are just some of the events for July:

July 3rd and 4th: Wintergreen Winery is offering “all American fun” with wine, great music, picnicking by the river and great scenery. (fee) 434-361-2519.

July 4th: BBQ at DelFosse Winery 1-3PM. Reservations required (fee) Call 434-263-6100 for all the details

July 10: Cardinal Point Vineyard is hosting a Summer Concert Series this season. Call 540-456-8400 for details

July 10: Veritas Vineyard and Winery hosts the popular Starry Nights from 7PM-11PM. (fee) Call 540-456-8000 for details about the live music, food and wine.

July 17th: Blackberry Season at Hilltop Berry Farm and Winery will run July 17th to August 15th. Pick your own berries for a fee

July 25th: Wine and Food Pairing at DelFosse Winery. Reservations required. (fee) Call 434-263-6100
