Plan Your July 4th Weekend NOW

I have received many questions about July 4th in Nelson County and Wintergreen Resort. So, today, I will start “advertising” some of the many activities planned for the weekend across Nelson County.

First, make sure you book your lodging in advance. Since July 4th is on a Saturday, we are expecting to be busy in Nelson County. Nelson County has homes and condos to rent in Wintergreen Resort, cabins in the mountains and B&Bs. All are reporting brisk reservations but do still have some lodging accommodations still available. Book yours today.

Today’s story will be about what is happening in Wintergreen Resort. Over the next week, I will mention things to do over the holiday, outside of Wintergreen. You can use Wintergreen as your home-base and visit many locations in the county—including wineries.

Wintergreen’s July 4th celebrations starts on Friday, July 3rd and runs all weekend. The weekend is full of family-friendly events for all ages. Here is a sample of events:
