The Big Red Barn Riding Camp


The Big Red Barn Riding Camp is designed for the beginner to intermediate rider ages 8-14. Campers learn English style riding ring lessons and a trail ride. Camp also includes basic horse education and care, natural horsemanship, and afternoon cool down at Wintergreen’s Lake Monocan. The Rodes Farm Stables Riding Camp is a five-day camp, Monday-Friday and is held from 8AM-2PM each day.


The Big Red Barn at the Rodes Farm Stables is located in Wintergreen Resort and Nellysford, VA. To register for this Summer’s Riding Camp, call 434-325-8260. Camps start on June 22nd.
Rodes Farm also offers private and group lessons that includes a 45 minute trail ride. If you are visiting for the weekend, the camp will offer a weekend mini-camp from 8AM-2PM for children ages 8-14.


Need to board your horse? Rodes Farm can also provide both field boarding and full boarding.
