Wow! There’s a lot going on Memorial Weekend in Nelson County…I will be posting updates all weekend. Tomorrow’s blog will be about Memorial events at our wineries and breweries.

Memorial Weekend in Wintergreen Resort

This weekend is packed with resort activities to include live music, the annual Arts & Crafts Show, teen night out, movie nights and the opening of Lake Monocan.

The Blue Ridge Terrace (directly behind the Mountain Inn) will be hopping with live music all weekend. In addition to Jonell Mosser, other acts include on Saturday include Bluezonia, The Nicholson Brothers and Eli Cook. (Eli will be playing both Saturday and Sunday) There will also be lots of food and local brews on the terrace on Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend also represents the first of two Bike Camps with Boone Lennon.

Friday Night: Movie Night and Bonfire at Discovery Ridge starts at 8:30PM
Friday Night: Live Entertainment at The Edge from 9:30PM: Jimmy O plays

Saturday: Arts & Crafts Festival behind the Mountain Inn 10AM-6PM
Saturday: Blues & Brews Festival 11AM-6PM on Blue Ridge Terrace
Saturday: Kids Block Party in the Blue Ridge Courtyard 3PM-4PM (behind the Mountain Inn)
Saturday: Jonell Mosser plays 7PM-9PM in the Performing Arts Tent ($10 for tix)
Saturday: Teens Night at The Dome from 8PM-11PM

Sunday: Live Blues Music on Blue Ridge Terrace 12PM-3PM
Sunday: Arts & Crafts Festival from 10AM-6PM behind the Mountain Inn
Sunday: Jonell Mosser plays 4PM-6PM in the Performing Arts Tent ($10 for tix)

Monday: Lake Monocan Day from 11AM-3PM including games and activities (fee for non-members)
