Wintergreen Winery Anniversary Celebration

It is going to be a beautiful day to visit the Wintergreen Winery and celebrate their 16th Anniversary. If you are looking for something to do today that has “local flavor”, then head over to the Wintergreen Winery. It will be an event full of great wine, music, food and Nelson County scenery.

Wintergreen Winery will hold its 16th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 25th with wine, music, picnics and fun from 10am until 6pm each day. The celebration will feature the “rockabilly bluegrass folk country rock” of Jacob Allen and friends on Saturday afternoon from noon until 5:30pm. The winery's tasting presentation of their award-winning wines will feature recent Double Gold winning Raven’s Roost Cabernet Franc as well as the latest vintages of Black Rock Chardonnay Reserve, Viognier, Thomas Nelson White, Brent's Mountain Merlot, Black Rock Red Reserve, Mill Hill Apple and Raspberry. Light "wine-friendly" picnic fare will be available for purchase to enjoy on the banks of the Rockfish River. Admission of $5 per adult includes a souvenir wine glass, wine tasting, door prize eligibility and special wine and gift discounts. Wintergreen Winery is a family friendly setting and there is no admission fee for children. Event is rain or shine. Wintergreen Winery is located 1/2 mile from Route 151 on Route 664/Beech Grove Road near Nellysford in Nelson County.
