10 AM Highland Hikes
Did you read the Highland Hikes column in the newsletter and say to yourself, “I’d love to do that hike, but…”? Here’s your chance. Join Irma Graf for the relaxed out-and-back 3.2 mile portion of the full hike. We’ll go as far as the first viewpoint on Rocky Mountain where, in addition to the fine scenery mentioned, you can find 500 million-year old fossil burrows of tubeworms—skolithos--in the sandstone-quartzite rock formations. Moderate $8 members, $12 non-members. Please register by Tuesday, April 21st at noon.
