Ski & Ride Report: Today we have 25 slopes and trails open and 4 lifts. We will be open for DAY AND NIGHT SESSIONS skiing and riding from 9AM-9PM. The average snow base depth throughout the resort is 30”-60”. REGULAR SEASON RATES ARE IN EFFECT.

The Plunge Tubing Park

I have received several emails about The Plunge Tubing Park in Wintergreen.
Did you know that The Plunge is Virginia’s largest snow tubing park? It is located in the Discovery Ridge area in Wintergreen’s Mountain Village.
Rates 2010-2011
• 2-hour session - $18 (midweek, non-holiday)
• 2-hour session - $27 (weekends and holiday periods)
Tubing Session Times
• Tuesday - Thursday: 2-4pm, 4-6pm, 7-9pm
• Friday: 2-4pm, 4-6pm, 7-9pm, 9-11pm
• Saturday: 10am-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm, 4-6pm, 7-9pm, 9-11pm
• Sunday: 10am-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm, 4-6pm, 7-9pm

Designated Holiday periods will operate on a Saturday schedule. MLK and President's Weekend Monday will operate on a Sunday schedule.
I highly suggest that you pre-buy your tubing tickets from the Wintergreen Resort web site in advance of your visit. Tubing times and tickets do sell out.
