Ski & Ride Season Opens Friday

12/9: Slight Warming: There will be a slight warming from today through the weekend. Temperatures will be in the high 30’s to low 40’s in the valley and in the 30’s in the mountains. Ski Season Kick-Off Friday

Yes, Ski & Ride Season 2010/2011 starts tomorrow morning at 9AM. Are you ready? Arrive early in the resort, get your lift tickets or gear rentals and have breakfast. The Copper Mine Bistro will be open for breakfast.

Which slopes will be open? Wintergreen has not announced the official list yet, but they are hinting that The Highlands may open tomorrow! That will be a first in the history of Wintergreen—The Highlands opening on Day One of the season. Stay tuned for updates.

Wintergreen is making snow on these slopes: Eagles Swoop, Sunrise, Tequila, Upper Cross Trail, Lower Cross Trail, Potato Patch, Upper & Lower Dobie, Upper Cliffhanger, Lower Wild Turkey, Loggers Alley and Hydraulic.
Wintergreen is also making snow on The Plunge and Ridgely’s Fun Park. I will be posting information about these fun family areas over the weekend.
