If you have been following my blog over the years, then you know that I need to dine Gluten Free. So, I am always looking for Gluten Free options in Nelson County. As the years have passed, more options have become available. Thanks to the local groceries and restaurants for supporting the Gluten Free community.

So, if you are visiting Wintergreen Resort or Nelson County, here is a list of Gluten Free options:

The Wintergreen Grocery, on Rt. 151 south of Nellysford, has a large selection of GF food. They also stock Sami’s bread, bagels, pizza crusts and wraps in their freezer section.

Java Depot, it Beech Grove next to Devil’s Backbone Brewery, has GF bread for breakfast and lunch sandwiches

Devil’s Backbone Brewery has Woodchuck Cider and GF Red Bridge beer

Vitos: Shortly, Vitos in Nellysford will have GF pasta

Wild Wolf Beer & Wine: Brew your own GF beer with supplies and assistance from Wild Wolf Beer in Nellsyford. (they have sorghum and other GF supplies in stock)
